Lots of new gigs + wild gay sex orgy. |

Time for another of your beloved updates from Crone's unofficial but so so factual website, crone-forum.com.
With Crone having just completed their gig in Rayleigh with fellow homosexualists The Story So Far, the rumours of a wild 8 man cockathon are already surfacing. Without wanting to divulge in to too many details, as this is after all a familyISH website and of course the thought of any member of Crone naked is enough to make someone want to projectile vomit......... Witnesses are said to have heard Moely screaming "YES! YES! That's the best blumpkin I've ever had!". Another source claimed to have heard a cry of "No Joel, you're too heavy to be on top, oh dear god NO!" and "Fucking hell Jason, you've had half your knob chopped off". On top of this, the clean up crew after the show found seven empty tubs of vaseline, two ball gags and a 'quite dirty' drum stick. Hmmmm. We would however like to state that reports that some of you may have heard of Moely having syphilis are unconfirmed, possibly complete fabrication; these rumours are an irritant and we have no idea where they come from. Crone are so far not available to comment.
At this point I would like to remind you that this is not the official website of Crone. Please direct all lawsuits to JTG@crone-forum.com.
On a rather less serious note, Crone have announced lots and lots of new gigs, many at various parts of the country supporting Green Date. The gig list on this site is now fully up to date - LINKY, as is Crone's MySpace page: www.myspace.com/cronerocks.
Ummm, the main gig of interest to us Norfolk folk at least is the Queen Charlotte on Tuesday 3rd June. It's short notice but the Queen Charlotte is always a good venue for Crone, there are four bands on that night, should be good fun.
I can't think of anything else to write, soooo peace out. That's so lame.

Don't have a heart attack, but this IS an update. |

No, you're not imagining it, this really is an update.
So let's look at what there is to update you with..... Crone have taken their awesomeness across the UK (well, Worcestershire and Essex) and they've managed to murder an already bad Sugarbabes song (just kidding, it's actually a vast improvement).
On a side note, Moely has managed to scare all females from ever visiting the Queen Charlotte again with a far-too-nearly-naked display, it's really going to take some time to get that image out of heads.... Please now excuse me, I'm going for a Thomas.
Mmm, refreshing. Crone do have one more gig in the pipeline at time of writing and that is at the Brickmakers B2 on the 1st of May. Good news as this one is FREE ENTRY and a pretty decent line-up as well.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed this update and the general liveliness around here. What liveliness you ask? How about the updated POLL? Eh? Ok, put your hand up if you didn't even notice. Put your other hand up if you don't give a shit. Aaaand jump up and down if you just want my fingers to stop typing so that you don't have to keep reading all this writing lark. Yeah, thought so. Dick splash.

Crone-Forum.com Website Changes |
|

Unless you're very slow, possibly mildly retarded, or just haven't checked this site for a while; you will have noticed that there has been a slight change around here.
Crone-Forum.com is now the home of the official Crone website. Don't worry though, those untalented bastards won't be taking over the fansite and forums, we remain here as before, only we're now located from within the official site. So, to clarify and summarise for you simpletons: www.crone-forum.com will lead you to the official Crone website, you can then access the fansite and forums from within there.
This makes life better for everyone, it means that Crone once again have an official website and it also means that my laziness will not matter so much, as the balding bass player can update the official site regularly.
Some of you (ok, one of you) may be interested to know that with the launch of the official site comes a brand spanking new photo gallery. Woooo! Yeah!

Rare Update |
|
Feb 12, 2008 - 3:25 AM - by JTG
|
No, your eyes are not deceiving you, this really is an update.
We're just a day away from Crone's gig at the Waterfront now; isn't it exciting! Aaanyway, if you have not already bought your tickets, you still can, drop an email to Crone@Crone-Forum.com and you can arrange to pick up your tickets on the night. It's far, far better to buy your tickets from Crone rather than on the door. Just because.
If you are not planning on going, or have not yet decided, it may be wise to consider the consequences of your actions. The consequences are as follows: Moely will 'go Freddie Mercury' on your ass, Joel will sit on you and Jason will shag your sister or your mother. Or both. I hope that has persuaded you to go. Now remember to get there nice and early as Crone are on first; doors are 7:30pm.
In other news, Crone have announced a gig at the Queen Charlotte. This one will be on Thursday 6th March, just two days before they play at the Marquee on Saturday 8th. I love the Queen Charlotte me; I love it like a fat kid loves cake. For more details on this one head over to the gigs page.

Next Gig; Better Than The Next, Not As Good As The Last |
|
Jan 10, 2008 - 6:36 AM - by JTG
|
Lol! See, who knows their shit. Right.
After the resounding success of Crone's last gig at the Queen Charlotte, we know eagerly anticipate the next at the Brickmakers B2. I feel I should write a few words about the last gig before we go any further though.
It really was a fantastic night, featuring two Tenacious D wannabees (they were actually quite funny despite the glaring case of gingerism), a solid ska/punk band, the majestic Crone and more makeup than I was aware even existed on the face of this planet. A gun, down someone's pants. A bandana, tied around somebodies knee. And hair, previously only seen on the 'doc' from Back To The Future. Jaysus. But seriously, it was a great night, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and if the gig at the B2 is half as good as the Queen Charlotte gig was, it should be another great night.
It's this Saturday 12th January, it's only £2 which is a bargain for such a great lineup. Doors open at 7pm and make sure you get there early because Crone are on first. I for one will be getting there very early, to allow for as much alcohol consumption as possible prior to enduring Crone's musicing.
Umm, more news, more news. There must be more news. Nope. I'll make something up. Tomorrow. Can't be phucked right now.
Ciao.
